APIC 1191 - Certified Supply Chain Professional

APICS/ASCM is a global professional organization supporting professionals in the supply chain.  

Be advised our CSCP classes are preparatory classes for professional certification exams. These Certification classes are not easy. They are conducted at a very high level of instruction and a prerequisite amount of experience and/or education is suggested.

We would recommend the following experience for successful completion:

•    For APIC1191 CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional) - A post-secondary degree and or 3 years of relevant experience is beneficial however not required for the Certification exam. 

To complete your register, you have to purchase the course, and then purchase the course materials. BCIT's website doesn't provide material purchasing options. Please follow the below steps if you are about to register for a course in BCIT. Note: Certification exams are external to BCIT and are at an additional cost.

Step 1

Register for the course via the BCIT website (if you already registered on BCIT, please skip this step and go to Step 2). Step 2

In addition to BCIT tuition, you will need to purchase APICS learning system kits, which include books and a complete online learning portal. This is mandatory. You CAN NOT transfer kits due to electronic licensing. The Learning System includes e-reading material and it is recommended to purchase your materials before the course starts as it can take between 3 to 5 business days for the license to be activated. Certification Exam (External to BCIT)

You may take the certification exam at any time after the class. ASCM Western Canada store includes the Member Priced exams for both CSCP and CPIM. Exam Fees are $1,450.00 CDN plus GST for CPIM and $ 1,600 CDN plus GST for CSCP.

Details of Student Membership

Student Membership Savings - For students registered in any of the 3 following programs are eligible to become ASCM 
Student members.   If a student has declared the program they can register as a student member by completing the ASCM WC student membership form Complete Student Membership Application

If you have not declared, select the program you are planning to register then complete the Declare Option.  Once completed then complete the student membership application form above. Allow several days for the application to be processed.

If you have not declared a program or are taking individual courses only with the college you are not eligible for the Student Membership.  You can purchase a regular membership or a Certification Membership Upgrade. 
Once you have completed the membership application allow several days for processing and then you will receive a membership email.  You can then purchase the materials at the member rate by logging in to the ASCM Western Canada site as a member and then completing the purchase selection via the Store.
